Description

This solicitation is for teleradiology services to provide interpretation and reporting for various diagnostic imaging modalities, including X-ray, Computed Tomography (CT), CT Angiography (CTA), Ultrasound (U/S), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA). The services are required by the Veterans Healthcare System of the Ozarks (VHSO) to supplement in-house radiologist capacity during business hours and provide after-hours, weekend, and holiday coverage. Key requirements include: * **Interpretation and Reporting:** Timely interpretation and final reporting of diagnostic images, with specific turnaround times for routine (24 hours) and STAT (60 minutes) exams. Critical results must be communicated telephonically within one hour. * **Personnel Qualifications:** All interpreting physicians must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology, possess current and unrestricted state licenses, and meet all VA credentialing and privileging requirements. They must also be technically proficient and fluent in English. * **Technical Requirements:** The contractor must maintain a reliable and secure teleradiology system capable of transmitting and storing data in compliance with DICOM standards and HIPAA regulations. The system must allow for interpretation of images from commercial PACS or VA's VISTA RAD PACS. * **Quality Assurance:** Performance will be monitored based on timeliness of reports, provider quality, qualifications, scope of practice, patient access, and adherence to training and privacy regulations. The contractor must also have a contingency plan for physician availability. Services are to be performed off-site at the contractor's location within the United States. The contract period for the base year is from May 15, 2026, to May 14, 2027.
