Description

The County of Solano, Department of Health and Social Services, is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) as an open and continuous opportunity to identify qualified organizations capable of supporting the Expanded Subsidized Employment (ESE) Program. This program, established under Assembly Bill 74, is designed to assist CalWORKs clients in gaining paid work experience, enhancing job skills, and ultimately transitioning into permanent, unsubsidized employment. Interested firms are invited to submit statements of interest at any time. The County is seeking partners who can provide job training, job coaching, and placement services. Additionally, partners will be expected to develop work site agreements with employers that clearly define participant assignments and responsibilities. The service area for these employment services includes all cities and unincorporated areas within Solano County, such as Fairfield, Suisun, Cordelia, Vacaville, Dixon, Rio Vista, Benicia, and Vallejo.
