Comprehensive Freight Forwarding, Management & Customs Brokerage Services

Texas A&M University is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to establish a pool of vendors for comprehensive freight forwarding, shipment management, customs brokerage, and related trade compliance support services. These services will support research, laboratory, academic, administrative, and other institutional shipping needs. The resulting contract(s) will be available for use by other eligible public agencies nationwide through a cooperative contract structure. The scope of work includes international and domestic freight forwarding, customs brokerage (requiring a current U.S. Customs and Border Protection license), export/trade compliance support, shipment management and visibility, specialized handling for sensitive or hazardous materials, customer service and account management, and duty and tariff invoice management. Respondents are expected to provide transparent pricing, maintain compliance with all regulations, and offer advisory support on trade-related matters. Proposals are due by June 15, 2026. The contract will have an initial three-year term with two one-year renewal options.
