Union County Roadway Maintenance and Construction Services

Union County, Mississippi is soliciting sealed bids for the construction and maintenance of approximately 15.639 miles of roads, designated as Roads "A" through "F" and CR1, CR73, CR82, CR121, CR194, and CR197. This project, part of the State Aid Program (SAP) Project No. SAP-73(9)S, will be performed in accordance with the latest edition of the Mississippi Standard Specifications for State Aid Road and Bridge Construction. Key work items include mobilization, removal of thermoplastic traffic stripe, unclassified excavation, granular material, crushed stone, asphalt paving (ST, 19mm and 12.5mm), micro-surfacing with emulsified asphalt and aggregate, and maintenance of traffic. The project also involves the installation of various thermoplastic traffic stripes (white and yellow), reflective raised markers, and regulatory and warning signs. Bids are due by 10:00 AM Local Time on June 5, 2026, at the Union County Chancery Building. The contract time is 90 working days. A certified check or bid bond for five percent (5%) of the total bid is required.
