The Genesee County Land Bank Authority (GCLBA) is issuing an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for environmental abatement and disposal of asbestos and hazardous materials, as well as demolition and disposal of residential structures in Flint, Michigan. This project is funded through Community Project Funding Grants under the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), with potential additional funding from the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund (SLFRF). Proposals must be submitted to the GCLBA main office at 452 S. Saginaw St, 2nd Floor, Flint, MI 48502, by 3:00 pm on Tuesday, July 14th, 2026. Bids must be sealed and clearly marked with the bid number. Bid documents are available on www.thelandbank.org under the 'Current Bids' tab. All received bids will be opened and publicly read aloud immediately after the closing time. Successful bidders must comply with federal labor standards, including the Davis-Bacon Act, Copeland Anti-Kickback legislation, and federal equal opportunity requirements. Minority and Woman owned business enterprises (MBE/WBE) and Section 3 business concerns are encouraged to respond. GCLBA reserves the right to accept or reject any bids and waive irregularities.
