Description

The United States Air Force, specifically the Air Force Sustainment Center at Tinker Air Force Base, is seeking information to identify potential sources capable of manufacturing aircraft trailing edges. This market research effort aims to determine if the requirement can be competitively bid or set aside for small businesses. Potential sources must be able to provide all necessary labor, materials, facilities, and equipment for new manufacturing, including component parts, inspection, testing, preservation, packaging, and shipping. Responsibilities may also include supply chain management, logistics planning, forecasting production requirements, and addressing long-lead time parts procurement and diminishing manufacturing sources. Technical data and qualification requirements will be provided, and interested parties may need to submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) package.
