Description

The City of South Fulton, Georgia is soliciting proposals from qualified firms or individuals to provide Medical Director Services for its Fire and Rescue Department's Emergency Medical Services (EMS) program. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical direction, including serving as Physician Sponsor for the department's EMS license, approving protocols and medications, reviewing patient care records, developing quality improvement programs, and overseeing clinical competencies. The services are to be provided for an initial term of twenty-four (24) months, with the potential for two (2) additional one-year renewal terms at the City's discretion. The contractor must meet minimum qualifications, including being a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine licensed in Georgia, with at least three years of experience in EMS medical direction or emergency medicine. Familiarity with Georgia EMS protocols and regulations is required.
