The Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities (EOHLC) is seeking additional shelter capacity for families experiencing homelessness. Through this Request for Response (RFR), EOHLC is seeking hotel vendors and/or hotel brokers to provide short-term room rentals for temporary emergency shelter for families receiving Emergency Assistance (EA) or similar benefits. The contract duration is an initial 11 months with 10 renewal options, totaling a maximum of 9 years and 2 months. EOHLC prefers sites that include access to shared kitchens or in-room kitchenettes and can facilitate large-scale feeding operations, or secure an onsite or third-party food vendor. Proposals from hotel brokers representing multiple hotel owners or chains are also welcomed.
