Description

The Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities (EOHLC) is seeking additional shelter capacity for families experiencing homelessness. Through this Request for Response (RFR), EOHLC is seeking hotel vendors and/or hotel brokers to provide short-term room rentals for temporary emergency shelter for families receiving Emergency Assistance (EA) or similar benefits. The contract duration is an initial 11 months with 10 renewal options, totaling a maximum of 9 years and 2 months. EOHLC prefers sites that include access to shared kitchens or in-room kitchenettes and can facilitate large-scale feeding operations, or secure an onsite or third-party food vendor. Proposals from hotel brokers representing multiple hotel owners or chains are also welcomed.
