Description

This is a Broad Request for Solutions (BRFS) from the Department of the Navy, Naval Sea Systems Command, specifically the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division. The purpose of this BRFS is to solicit innovative proposals for basic, applied, and advanced research, prototype development, demonstration, test and evaluation, analytics, modeling, and simulation to address current and future needs across ten specific technology areas. These areas include Contested Logistics, Energy Resilient Smart Micro Grids, Technologies for Improved Water Resilience, Advanced Battery Technology, Weapons Performance Energy Demand Reduction, Shipboard Power and Propulsion, Energy Training and Education, Unmanned Persistence, Industrial Control Systems and Operational Technology for Power Infrastructure and Weapons Systems Protection, and Supply Chain. Solutions will be evaluated with the intent of awarding a Project Order under the Expeditionary Missions Consortium (EMC2) Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) in accordance with 10 U.S.C. SS 4022. Vendors interested in responding must be members of EMC2. Membership information can be found at emccrane.org. The BRFS is anticipated to be released around May 2026 and will be managed by a Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division Project Manager. The BRFS will be released through the EMC2 Members Only Site.
