Macon-Bibb County Affordable Housing Fund Exclusive Residential Brokerage Partnership

Macon-Bibb County is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for professional services to establish an exclusive residential brokerage partnership for the Macon-Bibb County Affordable Housing Fund (MBCAHF). The selected brokerage(s) will be responsible for marketing and selling newly constructed, income-restricted single-family homes, playing a crucial role in facilitating sales to income-qualified homebuyers and advancing the county's affordable homeownership objectives. The MBCAHF aims to increase access to quality, affordable homeownership opportunities for low-to-moderate-income households, with plans to build a minimum of 7 homes in the next six months, expected to range between $150,000 and $220,000. The selected brokerage(s) must have demonstrated experience with programs like the Georgia Dream Homeownership Program, Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB) Down Payment Assistance, and MBCAHF Down Payment Assistance, and should possess knowledge of local market conditions and initiatives in South Macon or comparable neighborhoods. The partnership is not available to individual agents, but rather to licensed brokerages, with a designated broker and up to two additional agents required to work with MBCAHF.
