Concrete Pathway Installation at Signal Hill Picnic Area

This project involves the installation of a new, ABAAS compliant accessible concrete pathway at the Signal Hill Picnic Area within Saguaro National Park's Tucson Mountain District. The pathway will be approximately 80 feet long and 5 feet wide, connecting the existing parking area to a newly installed shade ramada. The concrete work must match the appearance, finish, texture, and scoring pattern of the existing concrete on site. Key tasks include earthwork, grading, subgrade preparation, concrete placement, and site protection during construction. The project aims to bring the site into compliance with federal accessibility standards by providing a durable and accessible route. The magnitude of construction is estimated between $25,000 and $100,000.
