City of Ely 2026 Street & Infrastructure Improvements

The City of Ely, Minnesota is soliciting bids for the 2026 Street & Infrastructure Improvements project. The scope of work includes the installation of approximately 680 linear feet of 8-inch DIP water main, 700 linear feet of 8-inch PVC sanitary sewer, replacement of 30 water and sewer services, excavation of 150 cubic yards of rock, installation of 2,300 linear feet of curb and gutter, placement of 800 cubic yards of Class 5 material, and 1,500 tons of bituminous paving, along with all related appurtenances. Bidding documents can be obtained from JPJ Engineering, Inc. for $50.00 per set, or online via QuestCDN for $30.00. Bidders must submit a signed statement verifying compliance with Minnesota Statutes, Section 16C.285, subdivision 3. A pre-bid conference will not be held. Bid security of at least 5% of the total bid is required, along with a Performance Bond, Payment Bond, and Certificate of Insurance upon award.
