]supports services qualification 2023
The Department of Developmental Services (DDS) is seeking to establish a qualifying list of providers for a range of support services. This procurement, SSQUAL-23, replaces the previous SSQUAL-10 RFR and includes updates and additions. The services are designed to assist individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, in various life areas, promoting skill development and independence. The services can be provided in-home, in the community, or at designated sites, with some services offering limited virtual delivery options. The procurement aims to maximize waiver reimbursement and support person-centered planning. New services added in the October 2022 reposting include Children's Respite in the Caregiver's Home and Children's Site Based Respite. Providers must meet specific staffing, training, and potentially licensure requirements depending on the service offered.
