Description

This Request for Information (RFI) seeks to understand industry capabilities related to affordable mass munitions, including guided missiles, missile warheads, and complete missile systems. The Department of War is shifting towards a balanced mix of high-volume, lower-cost weapons to sustain high-intensity operations. This RFI aims to gather information on achieving production scales of 1,000 or more units per year at specific costs, facilitating allied production and open architecture integration (WOSA, GRA), and sustaining manufacturing in contested logistics environments. Responses should address production capacity, cost data, schedule, technical performance, manufacturing approaches, WOSA/GRA compliance, international cooperation, and mobility/contested logistics considerations. Specific questions are provided for vendors in propulsion, digital manufacturing, autonomy, loitering munitions, international markets, and ERAM/FAMM-related sectors.
