Preventive Maintenance and Repair Service Agreement for Automatic Watering Systems

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is seeking information for a Preventive Maintenance and Repair Service Agreement for Automatic Watering Systems (AWS) located in Building 53, Building 62, and Building 62A-177 at the National Center for Toxicological Research (NCTR). The scope of work includes quarterly preventive maintenance, which encompasses verification, calibrations, adjustments, repairs, and replacement of worn or defective parts for the SE Labs automatic watering system and its Monnit monitoring system. The agreement must include all parts, labor, and travel expenses, with emergency service calls responded to within 2-5 business days and 24/7 technical phone support. Technicians performing the service must participate in the NCTR Animal Exposure Program, complete annual fit testing for an N95 respirator, be a U.S. citizen, and comply with FDA/NCTR facility entrance requirements. The contract type is Firm Fixed Price, and the period of performance spans from July 24, 2026, to July 23, 2031, with a base year and four option years. The FDA is specifically interested in identifying small business sources capable of providing these services.
