Baggage Handling System Operation and Maintenance Services

The Airport Authority of the City of Omaha (OAA) is requesting proposals for the operation and maintenance (O&M) services of the new inbound and outbound baggage handling system (BHS) at Eppley Airfield. This solicitation is part of the Terminal Modernization Program (TMP) to upgrade the existing terminal and includes a new in-line baggage handling system. The selected proposer will be responsible for comprehensive O&M services for the BHS, including participation in the initial Operational Readiness, Activation and Transition (ORAT), testing, and commissioning. The scope of work generally includes system operation to achieve maximum throughput, preventative and regular maintenance, response to repair needs, record keeping in the OAA's computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), system performance monitoring, and maintaining spare parts inventory. Strict compliance with FAA, TSA, and Authority security requirements is also mandated. The contract is anticipated to have a base term and two successive one-year renewal periods.
