Hydraulic Drop Deck Trailer

The Kansas Adjutant General Office is requesting bids for a new, unused hydraulic drop deck trailer. This trailer should be designed for ground loading and be capable of transporting heavy equipment such as scissor lifts and forklifts. Key specifications include a minimum 6ft width by 14ft length deck, a lift capacity of at least 10,000 lbs, and a GVWR of at least 14,000 lbs. It must feature a tandem axle configuration with two 7,000 lb axles and a torsion slide suspension system. The hydraulic lift system should be electric over hydraulic, operated by a wired or wireless remote, and powered by an onboard battery system that charges while the trailer is being towed. The trailer must be equipped with electric brakes on all axles and a breakaway system compliant with DOT requirements. It should have an adjustable 2-5/16 inch ball coupler and DOT-compliant safety chains. The trailer must include full LED lighting, a sealed wiring harness, and a 7-way RV plug. The deck should be constructed of 7-gauge steel with a 24-inch solid utility bed. Loading features include full ground-loading capability (deck lowering to approximately 4 inches), a removable tailgate for loading flexibility, and an integrated E-track securement system. Storage for a spare tire and a side-mounted toolbox is also required. The trailer must come with a minimum 1-year manufacturer warranty on the trailer and a minimum 1-year warranty on the hydraulics and electrical components.
