Welding, Machining, Painting, and Fabrication Support Services

The U.S. Army Aberdeen Test Center (ATC) at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) to identify Small Business vendors capable of providing welding, machining, painting, and fabrication support services. These non-personal services are intended to support the ATC's Welding Fabrication, Machining, and Paint Shops. The services will support various core competencies including Automotive, Command Staff, Live Fire, Virtual Test & Electronics, and Warfighter. The contract will involve complex fabrication projects, precision machining, surface preparation, painting, and potentially waterjet, laser, and plasma cutting. Specific requirements include adherence to American Welding Society (AWS) codes, operation of various machine tools, and compliance with strict safety, security, and environmental regulations. Personnel will require at least a SECRET facility clearance and active personnel security clearance. The contract is Cost Plus Fixed-Fee (CPFF).
