Aerial Ortho-Imagery and Oblique Imagery Services

Davidson County, North Carolina is requesting proposals from qualified firms for the capture and provision of 2-inch aerial Ortho-imagery and oblique imagery. This imagery will be captured biennially during the leaf-off season and will be delivered as a service and physically. The imagery will be utilized in the County's public-facing and internal GIS web applications. The project requires firms to have demonstrated experience in 2-inch Oblique and Orthogonal Imagery. The entire county is to be flown in the winters of 2027 and 2029. Deliverables include 2-inch Ground Sampling Distance aerial imagery, oblique views from all four cardinal directions, and a web-based viewing application with zoom, rotate, and password-protected access. Integration with ESRI GIS platforms, other map viewers, Bitek CAMA software, and Motorola Flex (911 CAD) software is also required. The scope may include optional services such as building outline generation, change detection, and CAMA sketch validation. Photogrammetric work must be supervised by a certified photogrammetrist, adhering to specific horizontal and vertical datums.
