Electric Actuators for Water Services

The City of Phoenix is soliciting sealed offers for electric actuators, parts, valves, gearboxes, accessories, and related software. This contract is expected to commence on or about September 1, 2026, and end on February 28, 2031. The actuators are required for the predictive, preventive, and remedial maintenance of water and wastewater flow control systems, which are critical to the city's operations. The contract will be for approximately four and a half years. The solicitation is available through the City's Procurement Portal. Offerors must be authorized distributors for the manufacturers of the products offered and provide proof of authorization. The actuators must comply with various applicable standards, including NSF/ANSI 61 and NSF/ANSI 372 for potable water applications. Technical specifications include requirements for electric motor-driven units, environmental and operating conditions, mechanical and electrical requirements, and controls, feedback, and communications.
