Description

New York City Transit is soliciting bids for the installation of freeway Traffic Control Signals (TCS), Variable Message Signs (VMS), Over Height Vehicle Detectors (OHVD), and Fixed Network Cameras (CCTV) at the Queens Midtown Tunnel (QMT) and the Hugh L. Carey Tunnel (HCT). This contract includes an opportunity for an Enhanced Utilization Credit (EUCI) for eligible Minority and Women Business Enterprise (MWBE) firms, offering an additional 50% credit towards their utilization. Details on eligible firms and the program can be found on the Empire State Development website and within the solicitation's General Provisions and Information for Bidders.
