]http://www.centerffs.orgThe Center for Family Services (CFS) Head Start is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for professional pest control services. This contract will cover the control and removal of a wide range of pests, including rodents, insects, and arachnids, at various CFS Head Start facilities serving Camden, Camden County, and Burlington County. The scope of work includes providing all necessary labor, equipment, and materials, such as chemicals and rodenticides. Services will encompass routine inspections and treatments for eradication and prevention, as well as responding to service calls for infestation control within an eight-hour period. Specific treatments for ticks, stinging insects, mosquitoes, and swarming insects at exterior locations are also included, though tree, shrub, and lawn treatments are excluded. Termite treatments will be handled upon request from the CFS Head Start Facilities Manager. All pesticide applications must strictly adhere to manufacturer instructions and be approved by the NJ Environmental Protection Agency, with no pesticides left unattended or stored on premises. Pesticides are not to be used or applied while children are present or during classroom activities. Proof of service completion, including the date, must be recorded on-site via a conspicuous service report. The agreement is for a 12-month period, from August 1st, 2026, to July 31st, 2027, with the possibility of adding or removing locations and negotiating costs as needed. The contract will be structured as a per-unit price agreement.
