Description

Mayville State University (MaSU), in collaboration with the University of North Dakota (UND), is seeking qualifications from experienced developers for a mixed-use development on university-owned land in Mayville. The project will be structured as a long-term ground lease, with a base term of 30 years and a potential extension of up to 20 years, totaling 50 years. The development is envisioned to include market-rate residential housing (approximately 100 beds or 50,000 sq ft) and short-term lodging facilities. Optional amenities such as a press box, golf and shooting simulators, locker room space, food and beverage operations, and limited retail are also encouraged. Developers will be responsible for all land lease payments, capital renewal, maintenance, and repair, while MaSU will collect rent from tenants and remit payments to the developer to cover financing obligations. The development sites are located along Stan Drakken Drive, across from the Lewy Lee Field House.
