Rankin County Tractor Bid

Rankin County Board of Supervisors is soliciting bids for one or more new track type tractors. The tractor must be the most current model from the manufacturer and have a minimum Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 30,882 lbs. Unpriced bid proposals are due by 11:00 a.m. on May 28, 2026. Vendors submitting acceptable specifications will be invited to participate in an electronic reverse auction on June 4, 2026, starting at 9:30 a.m. Delivery of the equipment must be completed within 30 days of the purchase order. The specifications for the track type tractor include requirements for the engine, powertrain, undercarriage, operator's station, dozer blade, work tools, serviceability, and warranty. Key specifications include a minimum engine horsepower of 130hp, a hydrostatic drive system, a minimum ground clearance of 14 inches, a cab with air conditioning and heating, and a minimum 30-inch shoe width. The equipment must also meet EPA Tier 4 Final/EU Stage IV emission regulations. A full machine warranty of 48 months or 4000 hours, along with a guaranteed buyback option from the selling dealership, is also required.
