UAB Highlands MRI Replacement Pre-qualification

This opportunity is for the pre-qualification of Prime General Contractors for the UAB Highlands MRI Replacement project. The project involves replacing an existing MRI at the UAB Highlands facility, including architectural, mechanical, and electrical modifications. The anticipated construction budget is between $1,000,000 and $1,250,000. Prime General Contractors must have experience with similar-sized hospital projects in operating hospital environments, including infection control, interim life safety measures, coordinating shutdowns, and maintaining a clean job site. Bidders must be licensed under Alabama law and include a copy of their current Alabama Contractors license with their submittal. Only pre-qualified bidders will be eligible to submit a proposal for the project. Pre-qualification submittals are due by 4:00 PM Central Time on June 05, 2026. Bids from pre-qualified contractors will be due on June 30, 2026, at 2:00 PM Central Time.
