Fire Protection Services for CFS Head Start

The Center for Family Services (CFS) Head Start is soliciting proposals for comprehensive fire protection services. This contract will cover semi-annual fire alarm tests and inspections, annual hand portable extinguisher tests and inspections, and annual emergency lighting tests and inspections for all site locations. The scope of work also includes testing and inspecting restaurant fire suppression systems (Ansul System and Type-K Extinguisher) and, where applicable, wet or dry sprinkler systems. The selected contractor will be responsible for performing necessary repairs to maintain all facets of the fire protection system in satisfactory condition. Proof of service completion, including the date and system conditions, must be recorded on-site. The services will be provided over a 12-month contract period from August 1st, 2026, to July 31st, 2027. The contract will be a per-unit price agreement, allowing CFS Head Start to add or remove locations as needed, with costs for new locations to be negotiated.
