Exploratory Water Well Drilling at Leadville National Fish Hatchery

This solicitation is for exploratory water well drilling and testing services at the Leadville National Fish Hatchery. The project involves drilling a well to a depth of approximately 125-150 feet and testing its maximum sustained flow to assess the feasibility of a production well for fish rearing. The period of performance is from June 1, 2026, to August 31, 2026. The contractor must comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including environmental and safety standards. Work hours are typically 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, seven days a week, with potential deviations requiring Contracting Officer approval. The work site is located at 2846 Highway 300, Leadville, CO 80461. The contractor is responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and licenses, including a well driller's license in the State of Colorado, and must have at least three years of experience in similar work. Submittals, including permits, licenses, and product data sheets, must be approved prior to installation. The contractor shall provide labor, materials, tools, and equipment to complete the well in accordance with the Colorado Division of Water Resources requirements.
