Description

The Indian Health Service (IHS) is seeking qualified firms to provide Computed Tomography (CT) and Diagnostic Radiology (X-Ray) Technologist services for the Pine Ridge Service Unit Hospital in Pine Ridge, South Dakota. This is a Sources Sought Notice for informational and planning purposes to determine if the requirement can be set aside under the Buy Indian Act authority. The anticipated NAICS code is 561320, Temporary Help Services. The objective is to provide direct patient care to the Radiology Department, ensuring continuity of care, compliance with regulatory standards, and support to medical staff. Services will include performing CT examinations and diagnostic radiology (X-ray) examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. The contract will require a minimum of one and a maximum of six CT technologists and three X-ray technologists. Services are to be performed as non-personal services, with the contractor responsible for all personnel, supervision, and necessary items. The anticipated period of performance includes a base ordering period of ten weeks plus nineteen 10-week option periods. Services will be performed at the Great Plains Area, Indian Health Service, Pine Ridge Service Unit Hospital and its outlying clinics. Deliverables include weekly and monthly performance reports, EHR documentation verification, personnel rosters, and staffing reports. The acquisition will use Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) procedures.
