Description

Jefferson County, Missouri is soliciting interest for Dead Animal Removal Services. The scope of work includes the retrieval and disposal of road-killed deer and other animals from various locations throughout Jefferson County. The contractor will be responsible for responding to calls from the Jefferson County Public Works office within two hours, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Services are required to be performed in accordance with best trade practices, all safety regulations, and applicable state and local laws. The contractor shall maintain a canvas to cover retrieved animals and file necessary Wildlife Disposition forms, providing a monthly report of activities to the Department of Public Works. Disposal fees are the responsibility of the contractor. Compensation will not be provided for "dry-runs".
