Bend-La Pine Schools: Commercial Building Shell Restoration

Bend-La Pine Schools is soliciting bids for the selective demolition of a commercial building, approximately 80,000 square feet. The scope of work includes the demolition of MEP systems and interior finishes to prepare the building as a tenant-ready core and shell. This involves removing interior walls, doors, windows, ceilings, light fixtures, carpet, and gym flooring, followed by drywall patching and painting to refinish the building. Limited roof and siding repairs at penetrations are also included, along with the safe shut-off, removal, and reconfiguration of HVAC, fire sprinkler, electrical, fire alarm, and plumbing systems. This is a prevailing wage project, and bids must include a statement of compliance with applicable prevailing wage laws. Bidding documents were prepared by ORW Architecture and are available for examination at the BLPS Contracting Webpage and ORW Architecture. Bids are due by May 26, 2026, at 2:00 PM local time at the Bend-La Pine Schools Administration Building, 520 NW Wall Street, Main Office, Bend, Oregon, 97703. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on May 19, 2026, at 7:00 AM local time at the project location.
