Content Creation and Media Services for U.S. Department of Transportation
OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY
The U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT), Office of the Secretary of Transportation (OST), is conducting market research to identify qualified contractors for content creation and media services. This includes planning, programming, and producing a wide range of video content, such as videography, post-production editing, livestream facilitation, podcast recording, audio/visual technical support, and 2D/3D animation. The services aim to standardize and expand the Department's multi-media capabilities to ensure brand consistency and effective communication. The scope of work covers pre-production (planning and scheduling), production (videography, lighting, sound, on-location shoots), and post-production (editing, motion graphics, animation, sound design). The contractor will also provide technical and production support, including operating and maintaining video production equipment, supporting audiovisual systems, and managing media assets. All deliverables must comply with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, The Plain Writing Act of 2010, GPO Style Manual, and agency branding guidelines. Deliverables include final master files optimized for various platforms and must meet professional broadcast quality standards.
