Description

The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) Catalyze Program aims to support the transition of basic scientific discoveries into viable diagnostic and therapeutic candidates ready for human testing. This initiative focuses on enabling technologies and transformative platforms that can significantly accelerate or transform areas such as early detection, screening, model development, clinical diagnosis, treatment, control, behavior, prevention, or epidemiology for Heart, Lung, and Blood-related (HLBS) diseases and disorders. Applications should demonstrate the potential for widespread applicability and a clear path to improving outcomes for HLBS-related conditions. Eligible applicants include various government entities, educational institutions, non-profit organizations, and for-profit organizations, including small businesses. Note that clinical trials are not allowed under this program.
