Term Contract for Road Line Striping

The City of Cincinnati is soliciting bids for a term contract for road line striping services. This contract involves the replacement of deteriorated pavement markings on public streets using thermoplastic and/or fast dry waterborne traffic safety paint. The scope of work includes restriping in existing patterns, modifications to markings, and application of various types of markings such as centerlines, edge lines, lane lines, and stop bars. The contractor will be responsible for supplying all necessary equipment and materials, ensuring compliance with environmental and material standards, and performing thorough site preparation, including sweeping and potential pressure washing. The work will also involve traffic control in accordance with the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) and Ohio Department of Transportation standards. Subcontractors must be approved by the City, and personnel involved in traffic control must hold relevant safety certifications. Bids must be submitted electronically through the City's Vendor Self Service website. The contract will have an initial term of twelve (12) months, with two optional twelve (12) month renewal periods. All pricing will remain firm for the entire contract term, except for potential wage adjustments under prevailing wage law. The City reserves the right to award the contract to the lowest and best responsive bidder.
