Chemical Supply for Water and Wastewater Facilities

The Chittenden County Regional Chemical Purchasing Consortium is soliciting quotations for the supply and delivery of treatment chemicals. This contract will cover the period from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027. Suppliers are required to provide firm pricing for the entire 12-month period, inclusive of delivery costs and any applicable fuel surcharges. Deliveries are expected during normal business hours (7:00 AM - 2:00 PM). The scope of chemicals includes, but is not limited to, Sodium Hypochlorite (15%), Sodium Aluminate (38%), Alum (50%), Ferrous Chloride (38%), Hydrofluorosilicic Acid, Sodium Bisulfite (38%), Sodium Hydroxide (50%), Ferric Chloride (34%), and Calcium Nitrate Solution (65%). Specific quantities and delivery types (bulk or short load) vary by facility, including locations in Burlington, Colchester, Essex Junction, Milton, Shelburne, South Burlington, and Winooski. Suppliers must confirm 24-hour emergency delivery capability. Certification for Sodium Hypochlorite compliance with ANSI/NSF Standard 60 is required.
