Elevator Inspections and Maintenance Services

Bristol Community College is soliciting proposals from qualified and experienced elevator contractors to provide comprehensive services including lubrication, examination, minor repairs, and adjustments for various elevator units. All work must be performed in accordance with the latest edition of "524 CRM: Board of Elevator Regulations" and the specifications outlined in the solicitation. The services will be required at multiple college locations: 777 Elsbree Street in Fall River, 11 Field Road in Attleboro, 800 Purchase Street in New Bedford, and 198 Herman Melville Blvd in New Bedford. The anticipated contract term is three years, from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2029, with the possibility of three additional one-year renewal options, concluding on June 30, 2032. Bidders must be licensed elevator mechanics and provide 24-hour emergency call services, including weekends and holidays. The contract also includes requirements for annual safety tests, permit fees, and detailed reporting procedures.
