USCGC Calhoun Change of Command Ceremony Services

The U.S. Coast Guard is soliciting bids for services to support the Change of Command Ceremony for the USCGC Calhoun (WMSL 759) in North Charleston, SC. The event is expected to host approximately 200 attendees and will take place on the ship's flight deck. Services required include the setup and installation of a 40' x 60' ceremony tent, tables, audio equipment (four speakers, two podiums), 200 folding chairs, and four large fans. Setup for the tent, tables, and chairs is scheduled for Monday, June 22, 2026, between 7 am and 8 pm. Podiums, audio equipment, speakers, and fans must be set up by 8 am on Wednesday, June 24, 2026. The contractor must provide water bags or weights to secure the tent and padding to protect the flight deck. Breakdown and cleanup of the tent and furniture will occur between Wednesday, June 24, 2026 (no earlier than 2 pm) and Thursday, June 25, 2026, by 4 pm. The contractor is responsible for transporting all equipment to and from the flight deck.
