Description

The Department of Mental Health (DMH) is seeking to establish a Master List of approved camps to which the Department can send children as needed during the summer and other times when children are not in school. This includes day or residential summer camp programs, after-school programs, or school vacation programs that meet specific criteria and are licensed by the Department of Public Health or a comparable state authority. DMH aims to include a wide range of camps, from specialized programs for youth with behavioral health needs to community-based camps accessible to all children. Referrals will be made for DMH clients, children receiving services through the Children's Behavioral Health Initiative, and siblings of DMH clients.
