On-Street Paid Parking Hardware and Wayfinding Upgrades
City of Fort Collins
The City of Fort Collins, through the Rocky Mountain Purchasing Group, is seeking information regarding on-street paid parking hardware and wayfinding upgrades. This Request for Information (RFI) aims to gather details from potential vendors to inform future decisions and a possible Request for Proposal (RFP). The scope includes the installation of approximately 65-80 self-powered pay stations (multi-space meters/kiosks) with battery backup, capable of communicating with existing ALPR systems, supporting dynamic pricing, free periods, and cloud-based operations. The City requires information on durability, maintenance, payment options (cash, credit card, app-based), and backend data capabilities. Additionally, the City is interested in upgrades to parking wayfinding signage for the downtown area. This includes evaluating dynamic versus stable signs, optimal placement for revenue and utilization, accessibility compliance, handling of congestion and special events, sign lifespan, warranty, and installation costs. Respondents are also asked to provide details on integration capabilities with specific systems (Luke II, ParkMobile, T2), reporting tools, maintenance support, past project experience, and how solutions can support the downtown's unique charm.
