Clay County Structure Removal and Road Widener Machine Bids

Clay County is soliciting bids for two separate projects. The first project involves the removal of structure #14-030-180 and its replacement with a culvert, which will be supplied by the County. Bids received for this project were from Gregoire Excavating, LLC ($53,439.07), Pollman Excavation, Inc. ($24,973.00), 3D Digging & Trucking, LLC ($59,000.00), and Pershing Excavating ($90,000.00). The second project is for the purchase of a Road Widener Single Right Side Discharge Machine. Bids for this machine were received from Butler Machinery Company ($69,780.77) and HTC Enterprise, LC ($56,000.00). In addition to these solicitations, the Board also approved an Application for Payment for Stream Bank Stabilization on Structure #14-125-120. The Board also discussed the county's Pictometry flyovers, which are conducted every three years, and the performance of the Zoom meeting microphones in the Commissioner Room, with Paul Ebsen volunteering his expertise to adjust them. Finally, the Board approved various claims for payment totaling $496,361.57.
