Elkhart County Demolition Project

Elkhart County, Indiana is soliciting sealed proposals for demolition projects at two locations: 30495-3 County Road 24, Osceola, IN 46561 and 27575 County Road 24, Elkhart, IN 46517. The scope of work includes general demolition, removal, disposal, and restoration. Proposals must be submitted to the Elkhart County Commissioners at 117 N. Second Street, Room 101, Goshen, IN 46526, by 9:00 a.m. local time on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. Proposals will be opened and read publicly at 9:00 a.m. in Room 104 of the Elkhart County Administration Building. Contract documents can be obtained from Elkhart County Planning and Development, Public Services Building, 4230 Elkhart Road, Goshen, IN 46526. Bidders must include all costs associated with demolition, removal, disposal, restoration, equipment, labor, materials, permits, licenses, and insurance. A non-collusion affidavit is required. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check for at least 10% of the total bid amount. A performance bond of 100% of the contract price, valid throughout the contract term plus twelve months post-substantial completion, will be required. Elkhart County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, accept any proposal, or waive informalities. Bids cannot be withdrawn after the closing time for 60 days.
