U.S. Coast Guard Academy Commencement Bus Services

The U.S. Coast Guard Academy (USCGA) in New London, Connecticut, requires contractor-provided transportation services for its annual commencement activities. These services are necessary due to limited parking on campus and will involve shuttling guests between designated satellite parking areas and the Academy. The contract will cover personnel, supervision, dispatch capability, transportation vehicles, fuel, maintenance, insurance, scheduling, and replacement vehicles. The scope of work includes providing clean, fully operational motor coach buses with a minimum capacity of 54 passengers for May 19, 2026, and twelve 52-passenger motor coaches and one 38-passenger shuttle bus for May 20, 2026. All vehicles must be ADA-compliant, equipped with wheelchair lifts, and operated by licensed drivers. The contractor must also provide two on-site dispatch/liaison personnel on May 20, 2026, and maintain dispatch capability throughout operational hours. In case of vehicle breakdowns, replacement transportation must be provided within two hours. Driver rosters and vehicle information are due five business days prior to performance.
