Pine Belt Regional Landfill and Transfer Station Operations

The Pine Belt Regional Solid Waste Management Authority is soliciting sealed proposals for comprehensive solid waste management services. This includes the operation of the Pine Belt Regional Landfill and three transfer stations, as well as the transportation of solid waste from these transfer stations to the landfill. The Authority may award contracts to one or more contractors for these services. Prospective offerors must register and obtain proposal documents online at www.neel-schafferplans.com. A pre-proposal conference is scheduled for May 19, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the Administration Building of the Pine Belt Regional Landfill for those interested in proposing for landfill, transfer station, or transportation services. Proposals are due by 2:00 p.m. on June 3, 2026, and must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked "Proposal to Provide Solid Waste Management Services to the Pine Belt Regional Solid Waste Management Authority" to Mr. Tony Harrison, Executive Director, at 5274 Highway 29, Ovett, MS 39464.
