]15 mxs mezzanine cabinet (request for information)
The 766th Enterprise Sourcing Squadron (766 ESS) is seeking information on potential sources capable of providing a custom two-tier modular storage cabinet system with mezzanine access for the 15MXS Propulsion flight tool room. This system is needed to create space for safely securing and maintaining engine test equipment, specialty tools, toolkits, and hazardous materials. The required system should have a total width of 37 ft. 6 in., with cabinet banks measuring 32 ft. 6 in. wide. The overall height, including the platform and cabinets, should be approximately 9 ft. 10.255 in., with the mezzanine platform height around 4 ft. 11.13 in. The walkway depth should be approximately 5 ft. Individual cabinets will vary in height, with common dimensions around 59 in., 44 in., and 27 in. high, and approximately 30 in. wide and 27.75 in. deep. The lower and upper cabinets should include a variety of shallow and deep drawers, with lockable options for secure storage. Cabinet configurations may include back-to-back systems where drawers are accessible from both the front and back. The system should feature a metal grated walkway across the top row of cabinets, complete with full-length guardrails and a staircase with safety railings on the right side. Multiple support posts will be required for stability. Additional design elements such as filler panels and cabinet spacers (30" and 60" segments) for structural continuity are also needed. All components, including stairs, walkways, and cabinets, should be color-matched in a blue finish.
