Box Canyon Dam Generator Replacement Project

The Siskiyou Power Authority is soliciting bids for the Box Canyon Dam Generator Replacement Project. The project involves site improvements such as grading and drainage, the installation of a new generator and its associated canopy structure and yard fencing. Additionally, the project includes the demolition of a portion of existing concrete access stairs and railing, followed by the installation of new steel-framed access stairs and railing. Electrical work will encompass the infrastructure from the new generator to the new MTS, as well as adding a trolley motor to the backup power supply. The proposed timeline indicates that proposals are due by May 20th, 2026. A mandatory pre-bid walk-through is scheduled for April 17th, 2026, and questions regarding the bidding documents are due by May 1st, 2026.
