Trash Can Liners for Alameda County

Alameda County is soliciting bids for environmentally preferable, high-quality trash can liners. The contract will be for an initial three-year term with an option to renew for an additional two years. The liners will be used across more than 140 county-owned facilities, including offices, detention facilities, libraries, and administrative buildings, managed by the General Services Agency (GSA) Building Maintenance Department, Alameda County Library (ACL), and Alameda County Probation Department (ACPD). The selected bidder will be responsible for providing liners that meet specific performance, sustainability, and regulatory requirements. Key specifications include dimensions, material thickness, bottom seal requirements, and compliance with California's recycled plastic content mandates. Liners must be transparent and free from Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT). The contractor must also adhere to case pack requirements, with individual cases not exceeding 50 lbs, and ensure timely delivery within 72 business hours to designated county locations. Proof of fleet availability or a reliable delivery service is required.
