Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment Services for Butte County

The County of Butte is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment Services for clients of the Department of Behavioral Health. These services are intended to support client recovery goals, increase self-sufficiency, and provide training and employment opportunities. The scope of services includes, but is not limited to, employment readiness, on-site supportive employment, employment placement assistance, job training, community-based employment, life skills development, and job coaching. The selected respondent(s) will also coordinate and manage individual employment placements and develop new vocational programs to meet community needs. Key goals include increasing vocational training and workforce re-entry for County consumers, engaging consumers in volunteer positions, providing diverse skill-building opportunities, transitioning consumers to higher employment levels, and offering effective job coaching and support. The contract is anticipated to be for the 26/27 fiscal year with options to renew for up to five years.
