This solicitation is for the manufacture of 20 new flight-critical spare parts (NSN 1R-1680-016216839-EY). The resulting award will be limited to government-approved sources, and offers will be evaluated based on price and non-price factors such as capacity, delivery, and past performance, with non-price factors being more important. Suitable technical data is not available for acquisition from other sources, and the item is flight critical, requiring engineering source approval by the Naval Air Systems Command. Companies not previously approved must submit a Source Approval Request with their proposal. Offers must be submitted by the closing date of 2026-05-12, by 4:30 PM local time. The unit price should be firm fixed price, and tiered pricing will not be accepted. All contractual documents will be considered issued upon deposit in the mail, facsimile transmission, or other electronic commerce methods.
