Timber Sale - Kisatchie National Forest

This solicitation is for the sale of timber located in Vernon Parish, within sections 7, 17, 18, 19, and 20 of T1S, R7W. The estimated volume includes 56 CCF of Hardwoods sawtimber, 2983 CCF of Southern Yellow Pine sawtimber, 30 CCF of Hardwoods pulpwood, and 3051 CCF of Combined Softwoods. These are the trees designated for cutting. The Forest Service will accept sealed bids until 9:00 AM local time on June 18, 2026, at the Supervisor's Office in Pineville, LA. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids. A prospectus, bid form, and complete sale information are available from the Calcasieu Ranger District or the Supervisor's Office.
