Facade Restoration and Exterior Renovations for 70-72 Main Street and 12 Pendleton Street

The City of Belfast is seeking bids for exterior renovations and restoration services for buildings located at 70-72 Main Street and 12 Pendleton Street. The scope of work for 70-72 Main Street includes woodworking, painting, replacing rotted wood, caulking, and addressing surface damages. The scope of work for 12 Pendleton Street includes brick restoration, which may involve replacing spalled bricks and repointing eroded areas, as well as some painting. This project is partially funded through a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Business Facade Grant and will be subject to federal and state requirements, including Davis Bacon wage rates. Bidders must be experienced with historic properties and adhere to National Park Service standards for cleaning and repointing.
