Day Treatment and Day Rehabilitation Services

The County of Tuolumne, through its Health and Human Services Agency, Tuolumne County Behavioral Health (TCBH), is requesting proposals from qualified organizations to provide Day Treatment Intensive (DTI) and Day Rehabilitation Services. These services are intended for Medi-Cal members who require more intensive mental health support than standard care, aiming to prevent hospitalization and promote community-based recovery. Respondents can apply to serve either the Children and Youth population (ages 12-17) or the adult population (ages 18 and older), or both, with separate Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) required for each population. The services include treatment planning, skill building, therapy, and psychosocial rehabilitation groups, with a minimum of three hours of service per day for half-day programs and more than four hours for full-day programs. Services must meet the medical necessity criteria outlined in the Behavioral Health Plan and require prior authorization for day services for full-scope Medi-Cal beneficiaries residing in Tuolumne County.
